Inside the temple, visitors can enjoy cultural areas such as Book Cafe, Lotus Gallery, and traditional tea house, Sarangchae. The temple is used as a cultural resting area and artistic spot for meetings without any religious barrier. Also, Mugaksa Temple has been hosting Treasure Island since 2009, a flea market that sells various recycled items donated and organized by religious groups and community organizations.
