We provide various information such as the website, contact information, usage information, and location (map) of Gwangju Seo-gu, Mugaksa Temple (무각사) using public data of Korea Tourism Organization.
Nestled at the foot of Yeouisan Mountain, Mugaksa Temple in Gwangju is on a similar level with Bongeunsa Temple in Seoul as an urban Buddhist Temple. Inside the temple, visitors can enjoy cultural areas such as Book Cafe, Lotus Gallery, and traditional tea house, Sarangchae. The temple is used as a cultural resting area and artistic spot for meetings without any religious barrier. Also, Mugaksa Temple has been hosting Treasure Island since 2009, a flea market that sells various recycled items donated and organized by religious groups and community organizations.
